HE HAS A NAME?  WHAT?  Brian Friedman has a name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you serious? !!!!!!!!!!! Me and my sister just call him the 'grey bread newsie' cause we didn't think he had a name!!!!!!! lol and we called him that cause he wore grey and we always remember seeing him when he was gettin' bread from the nuns.... wow..... |

It's not official, but in the general Newsie fandom, Silder and Tumbler got nicknames because they are always around, and ought to be "named" newsie xP
Therefore...Slider! And Tumbler! It's easier than "Brian Friedman's character" and "Kid in the Orange!"

I almost got a turtle and the type was a Red Eared Slider. But I would have named it Racetrack. (he looks like a turtle to me) |

I love the "origins" of Slider's name - I'm assuming he's the wee one from CTB who slides out on his bare buttocks and pulls his overalls up while running after the bigger newsies, just before they show the shot of them all clambering down the staircase.
