Who DOESN'T like a good movie or TV show featuring one of the Newsies actors? Here are some good ones:
Christian Bale.
Christian Bale's best movie, I'd have to say, is Mary Harron's screen adaption of the Brett Easton Ellis novel "American Psycho". Not every actor can make a serial killer womanizer a likable character. It's even funny at parts. Watch it, you won't be disappointed! (Though it is rated R for lots of violence, language, drug use, and graphic sex, FYI)
Howl's Moving Castle- The character Howl is voiced by Bale. Beautiful movie.
Swing Kids- Seriously kick-ass movie that takes place in Nazi Germany in 1942. What better way for teenagers to rebel against Hitler than swing dancing?
Max Casella
I am a pretty big fan of The Sopranos. I LOVED the series finale. Though, Casella had a pretty small role throughout the entire series.
Doogie Howser M.D.- Great show, I absolutely love Neil Patrick Harris anyways. But Casella's character Vinnie was pretty d**n annoying in my opinion. Half the time I wanted to blue-skidoo into the show and punch him in the face.
Aaron Lohr
Mighty Ducks. Love the series. They just kick major ass.
Rent- One of my guilty pleasures. Gahh. I love the stage show, but the movie is cool too (Lohr has a small role as Steve)
Luke Edwards
Okay, really, this guy hasn't done anything, really. But come on, who doesn't like "Jeepers Creepers"?
Little Big League- This movie sucked, but I found it hilarious how much Edwards physically matured in it (this movie came out a year after newsies). It's like he started and finished puberty in a week. (Casella was probably v. jealous) Rent it just to see for yourself.
Ehh. For now, that's all I got. I'll post more later!
